Diskspace refers to the amount of space that has been allocated to your hosting account. We provide high amounts of diskspace with our hosting packages this means that even the large websites can be catered for.

Data transfer
Data Transfer refers to the amount of data that has actually been sent from the server to the client or vice versa. An analogy would be a road, the number of lanes on a road would represent Bandwidth, the number of cars that travel along that road over a given period of time would represent Data Transfer.

Instant backups
Our control panel gives you to option to make an 'instant' backup of your entire cPanel account. It will archive your account and provide you with a link to download the backup. You can then use this backup file to restore your account on our servers if need be.
This backup gets everything associated with your account: e-mail accounts (including the passwords and messages still on the system), FTP accounts, add-on/sub/parked domains, databases, mailing lists, EVERYTHING that is setup with the account.

PHP
PHP is a scripting language and interpreter that is freely available and can be used to generate dynamic content on websites. PHP can interact with server databases that allow websites using it to provide functionality that would not be available with a standard HTML website. Perl
Perl is a script programming language that is similar in syntax to the C language and that includes a number of popular Unix facilities such as SED, awk, and tr. Like PHP, Perl is often used when writing applications for the Web. It is regarded as a good choice for developing common gateway interface (CGI) programs because it has good text manipulation facilities.

MySQL
A MySQL database is available for use with all our hosting packages. A MySQL database maximises speed and customisability.

CGI
CGI stands for Common Gateway Interface. CGI is one method by which a web server can obtain data from (or send data to) databases, documents, and other programs, and present that data to viewers via the web.

More simply, a CGI script is a program intended to be run on the web. A CGI program can be written in any programming language, but Perl is one of the most popular. On our servers you will get a cgi-bin directory that your scripts should normally be uploaded to, however your CGI scripts will work both inside and outside of this directory.

SSI

Pop 3 Accounts
This is the number of POP accounts you get. POP accounts are used to send and receive emails through programs such as Outlook Express or Eudora.

E-mail alias
Mail box aliases will allow you to setup multiple email addresses to go to a single mail box.

Mailing lists
Have a group of people you regularly mail? Add them to a mailing list so you can email them faster and easier.

Catch alls
A catch all email address will receive all emails delivered to non existent email addresses.

Spam Assasin
If you enable Spam Assasin it will block most spam from reaching your e-mail.

Mail forwarding
You can setup a mail forwarder. Doing this will forward all your mail to any email address you wish.

IMAP
We support Internet Message Access Protocol. "IMAP permits a "client" email program to access remote message stores as if they were local."

SMTP
We allow you to use our servers to send outgoing mail.
